I've been wanting to buy one for awhile, just to play around with it, I hate not knowing how to ork of fix something, but at $1000~ is pretty pricey for a new "toy" that I don't really need since I've got 4 PCs in my house.

It's a real pain in the ass to get OS X working on non-Apple stuff. I've done it, but it's a BITCH.

Yeah, I could but I've got a VMWare running it already, and it seems alright, but I can't really DO anything with it.. that is to say, no use for it.

Not true anymore. If you get the right hardware you can use the retail dvd

If you have the right hardware.. shit might as well buy one. Anyways, supposedly the best thing about mac is it works with mac stuff, I wouldn't wanna half ass it. I might get my fiance' one later on and just play with it, that is when they stop being gay about their prices.
