Triathlon + Aikido

I decided that I haven't been gettin enough exercise and have been drinking WAY too much. So I am gonna start training for a Sprint Triathlon (.25 mile swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run).

Yesterday, after work, I swam for 30 minutes and only swam about 800M or Yards, i think the pool is a yard pool since it seems short (used to train in a Meter pool). I forgot how tough it is to swim. I plan on Swimming, Biking, and Running 2x a week for each. I'm gonna try to work my swim up to 2500M or yards for about an HR workout, and then Bike and run on the same day (bricks)...they say biking and running is really tough, i plan on just biking 30 minutes and then running another 20-30 minutes.

today ill be doing the Bike and Run, i might only do a 20 minute bike and 10 minute run to ease into it.

I also am going to start to take Aikido 2x - 3x a week. Should be fun.

schedule should look like this:

M Swim 1 hr, Aikido 1hr
T Bike 30min, Run 30min
W Swim 1 hr, Aikido 1 hr
R Bike 30min, Run 30min
F Aikido 1hr
S off
