The wife signed us up today to start working out again. More or less as a family, but my workouts will be much eariler. Like 5 am early. I tend to do much better when I can get up, work out, and get my day started right. Anyways, just posting this because I wanted a date I could look back on and know what I was thinking. Anyways, if anyone has any thoughts, let me know.

ITE from my division commanders, I promise you'll loose 20 lbs in month.

Only problem is they won't let us see the card. They're kinda picky about those things.

But the exercises are:

8-count body builders
Leg rises
jumping jacks
curl ups (aka sit ups)
squats
sharks
arm circles UP, foward, and on the side.
push ups
mountain climbers.

Btw, this is a punishment, it sounds easy, but you do them back to back about 5 minutes per exercise. It'll take you 55 minutes to do the whole thing. You'll sweat a LOT.
If you'd like I can attempt to get pictures of the exercises, but you're pretty much the master at google anyways.

Just joined a running club in the area.

6' 1.5"
145 lb
Not sure my body fat but prob around 5-10%

Goal is to get to 18:00 in a 5k or faster and finish in the top 3
that or sub 40:00 for a 10k

And then work my way up to qualify for boston marathon and run in sub 3:00 hr

So far, doing track workouts 12 - 400s @ 90s (6 min mile pace) and mile+ cool downs once a week and a long run on the weekend but I'm going to have to start ramping up more distance runs through the week.

We'll see how it goes.. already feel like I have tons more energy throughout the day though.

Did I see right that you are 6'0", 150lb? Man, once you start upping your protein intake to 1.5-2 grams per pound of body weight while taking a moderate amount of carbs and fats, you'll be making great gains, without the anavar.

PM me if you want to get the ball rolling on your routine and diet. I'll help you put both together whenever you're ready.

Best,
Dave

Re: Its Workout Time Again

I always thought it was 1g of protein per pound of lean body mass? Not to mention, i've heard that even that is far too much.

Re: Its Workout Time Again

Most trainers of elite bodybuilders suggest eating 1.5 to 2 grams per pound of bodyweight. Diet is crucial to long-term muscle gain success, and most trainees fail at the dinner table.

You may not want to become a bodybuilder, but if you want to look nice and lean, eating like a bodybuilder for a couple of years while training hard is the surest way to accomplish the task.
