Hi SoG...yes, this is Kaj =UH= from the good old days.

Hah, I can't believe someone actually listened to me by picking up a book to read that I recommended....I can't even remember how you knew that I thought Rich Dad Poor Day was a good read...how did you find out?

I suppose I was wandering through Books-a-Million when I ran across Rich Dad Poor Dad. Within a few months, I was heading into Management School at Boston University, so I thought I'd read a few business-related books to give me a head start. Surprisingly, RDPD definately opened up a new sense of financial understanding that I previously had never considered. I'm looking forward to purchasing some real estate in the future once I get some capital for a down payment... I am in love with the notion of making your money work hard for you, while you sit back and let the cash flow roll in! Do you think you'll do anything like that once you get out of high school (if you haven't already)?

-Dave

Management is basically a generalization of the education available at BU's Management school. Finance, accounting, organizational behavior, law, operations management, and so on are focuses that a management student can take. I'll probably focus on accounting/finance, but I might go with a general management degree which basically touches base with finance, information systems, accounting, and organizational behavior.

I've thought about switching to another major, like exercise science, but the opportunities with my Management major are excellent, so I'm going to stick with it.

I am not yet utilizing cash flow to a prodigous state of efficiency; however, I started up my own little business in September where I re-distribute surfboards. Essentially, I buy surfboards from cheaper sources online, then sell them elsewhere online. I have probably only made about $500 profit so far, but it's a good start considering the little amount of effort I put into it. I take pictures of the boards then put them up on my website accompanied with descriptions.

Here is my site(don't laugh) http://mysite.verizon.net/res6tdx4

Let me know what you think.

The season is pretty slow right now, so my inventory is low. I am looking to restock it before spring comes along because late-spring/summer is when my sales will start bringing in some cash flow.

Missing class is a killer. I only skipped class once because I was super hung over. I figured I'm paying a shitload of money I might as well get what I payed for. Also, If you attend class you don't really even need to do the homework. I probably did about 10 hours total of homework last semester, and got a 3.73.
