M$ Outlook Help

Quick question and maybe someone can help me. Does M$ Outlook 2003 have a function that will automaticly put the file name attached in the email?

Just wondering because I send a lot of attachments at work and I would like for when I attach something it will write the final name attached some place on the bottom of the email.

Example:

The message was sent with the following file or link attachments:
1-10-07 004.jpg

Of course I don't care if it shows the file extention.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know of anything built in that does that. are your attachments not showing up, or? just wondering why you'd want this, because it will usually say something like that at the top of the email anyway -- but everyone has their reasons.

No, they are showing up. I was just wanting the email itself to say it for filing reasons only.

Yes is the answer... I think

You will have to send the files in a different way.... I can't try it now because I don't have outlook here at home. Try it and if it work.. Hey I was right.

You need to RIGHT click on the file you want to send and click SEND TO -> MAIL RECIPIENT and it should auto load the file into outlook as an attachment and I am pretty sure it names the email subject as that files name.

Seems like I have done that before.

Not sure if that is 100% sure what you're looking for, but it's an option
