I still to this day, don't understand wtf people were thinking by getting ARM and Interest only loans. Much less buying a house in the last 5 years.

I almost bought a house the end of 2006, I mean I had the papper work and loan approved all I had to do was sign the dotted line.. then I thought about the situation and knew something was going to happen.

I didn't even parse the guy's analysis as I got bored of reading him pat himself on the back for being a fiscal psychic. At a glance, he's telling people to be responsible with their money, live within their means, not extending credit to suit desires...you know...basic responsibility.

Was any of that truly a revelation to you?

Not, really but seems so many people fell into the trap.. Enough of them that our economy is going down the tubes.
