Re: Cool little motorcycle adventure today

Btw.. this is totally off topic.. but reminded me of the scene in Zack and Miri make a porno with the two gay dudes.

"What's the name of the movie you stared in again?"
"Shut your mouth or i'm gonna fuck it."

I'm sure it'd take more than that to drain Jet's massive e-penis worthy of bandwidth.

On topic:
It seems a shame that they let that whole "museum" really go in such a manner. You would have thought he'd try to at least maintain the bikes and building or move them to a new location.

How the hell did this wind up on canuckriders.com? Cool anyway. Too bad Jerms doesn't make $ off traffic.

Re: Cool little motorcycle adventure today

Now we have Canadians here?

Jeez Jet, get a hold on this place!

J/K! Welcome if you stick around...

I would quote a famous line from Blazing Saddles, but I'm fairly sure that's not appropriate.

Totally...it would have been real nice if he had kept up with the place. There must be HUNDREDS of bikes that have fallen through to the basement or other floors that were real treasures, or other bikes that have been exposed to the elements on the upper floors that have just rusted away...still, there's easily a thousand or more bikes that are in a restorable condition. Problem is, most of the good bikes that are left either A) you can't get to because it's too dangerous, or B ) when that section of floor/ceiling gives way, those decent bikes will be lost.

If the place is still standing in a month or two we're going to make another trip and save as many as we can.

NOTE: If any of you are interested in something specific, let me know what it is, and when I go back I'll look for you. If I can find it, I'll get you a price on the bike itself, and if you can pay for the shipping charges I will save it for you and ship it out to you. You'd probably have to pay a couple hundred for shipping (maybe we can put it on a pallet, seal it up, and UPS freight it), but if you know what you're looking for and he has it, I promise you it'd be a steal. Even if you don't want a whole bike, you already have something unique/old and only need specific parts, I can def. go find them for you and send them out. PM me if anyone has anything in mind.

Found it on the Ducati Monster Forum. That's a cryin' shame. All those pieces of history just rotting away.
Didja see anything from Ducati or Aprilia in there?

Re: Cool little motorcycle adventure today

Aprilia, I didn't see any (I probably only saw 10% of what's in there) but I know he has some there, when we got there he rattled off a list of bikes/parts he had. Ducati I don't know about
